Ginger Beef Pasta with Tomato-Wine Sauce

Steps

1. Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. 3. Stir in the grated ginger and cook for an additional minute. 4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and red wine to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. 5. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. 6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
