Steps
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream sauce and stir until melted and smooth.
5. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
