
Steps
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breast and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
- In the same skillet, add the cooked pasta and pesto. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the pasta. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
