Steps
Step1: Heat the ghee in a large frying pan over a medium flame.
Step 2: Add the mustard and cumin seeds. Fry for about 30 seconds or until they start popping.
Step 3: Add the garlic and curry leaves. Sauté for 1 minute.
Step 4: Add the turmeric and mix well.
Step 5: Add the freshly grated coconut and fry until golden and fragrant (about 5 minutes).
Step 6: Add the cooked rice and mix everything together.
Step 7: Add salt to taste. Cook over a low flame for about 10 minutes, stirring and mixing continuously.
Step 8: Serve hot with your favorite accompaniment.
