Steps
1. Cook edamame beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and cool.
2. In a food processor or blender, combine the cooked edamame, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil.
3. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water to reach desired consistency.
4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.
6. Serve with fresh vegetables, pita bread, or crackers.
