Steps
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper and cook in the skillet until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and turn golden, about 5 minutes.
5. Pour in the heavy cream, stir well, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
