Steps
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
4. Brush the drumsticks with olive oil to help the coating stick.
5. Dredge each drumstick in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
6. Place the coated drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Lightly spray the drumsticks with cooking spray to promote crispiness.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the coating is golden brown and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
9. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
