Steps
1. Core and slice the apple into 1/2-inch thick rings.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.
3. Slowly add sparkling water to the dry mix and whisk until smooth batter forms.
4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
5. Dip apple rings into the batter, then carefully place into hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
6. In a small bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard to create the dipping sauce.
7. Break instant Indomie noodles into smaller pieces (about 1-inch).
8. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
9. Add the broken noodles and fry, stirring constantly, until crispy and golden, about 3-5 minutes. Season lightly with salt.
10. Serve the deep-fried apple rings with honey mustard sauce alongside the crispy fried noodles.
