Steps

1. Clean the clams thoroughly under cold water. 2. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. 3. Add white wine to the pot and bring to a simmer. 4. Gently place clams in the pot and cover with a lid. Steam for 5-7 minutes or until the clams have opened. 5. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Serve the clams in a bowl, drizzle with the garlic butter sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley.
