Steps
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the canned diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, and sugar. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.
4. While the sauce simmers, season chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper. Grill on a preheated grill or skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
5. Slice the grilled chicken and add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to combine.
6. Serve the pasta topped with sliced chicken, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
