Honey Pistachio Baklava

Indulge in layers of flaky phyllo pastry filled with a sweet mixture of honey, cinnamon, and crushed pistachios, baked until golden and crisp, then drizzled with a honey syrup.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a bowl, mix crushed pistachios with honey and cinnamon. 3. Brush a baking dish with melted butter. 4. Layer 2 sheets of phyllo pastry in the dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter. 5. Spread a portion of the pistachio mixture on top. 6. Repeat the layering process with remaining phyllo sheets and pistachio mixture. 7. Score the top layer into diamonds or squares. 8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. 9. While still hot, drizzle honey syrup over the baklava. 10. Allow to cool before serving.
