
Steps
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until they become translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and diced potatoes to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes start to soften.
- Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for another 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well, ensuring the pasta is coated with the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
