Steps
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and gradually add the maize flour, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
3. Mix until the ugali thickens, then cover and let it cook for about 5-10 minutes.
4. Stir again, adding a pinch of salt to taste.
5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until it reaches a firm consistency.
6. Transfer ugali to a serving plate and shape it into a round form.
7. Serve warm with your choice of vegetables or eggs.
