Molten Chocolate Lava Donut

A decadent donut filled with rich molten chocolate, bursting open to reveal a warm, gooey center. Topped with colorful sprinkles and drizzled with extra chocolate sauce, this treat delivers an indulgent explosion of flavor and texture.

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a donut mold. 2. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. 3. In another bowl, whisk sugar and egg until combined. Add milk and melted butter, mix well. 4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until smooth. 5. Fill each donut mold halfway with batter. 6. Place a small piece of dark chocolate and a few chocolate chips in the center of each mold. 7. Cover with remaining batter to fill molds. 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until donuts are set but still soft. 9. Remove from oven and let cool for 3 minutes, then carefully remove donuts from molds. 10. Drizzle with warm chocolate sauce and sprinkle colorful sprinkles on top. 11. Serve immediately to enjoy the molten chocolate center as it splits open.
