Steps
1. Rinse the mussels under cold water, removing any beards or debris.
2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
4. Add the mussels to the pot and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the pot occasionally, until the mussels have opened up.
5. Remove the lid and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve the mussels in bowls, ladling the white wine sauce over the top. Enjoy with crusty bread for dipping.
