Tomato Basil Chicken Skillet

Steps

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 2. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and dried oregano. 3. Cook the chicken breast in the skillet for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through. 4. Remove the chicken and set aside. 5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. 6. Add diced tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and release juices. 7. Stir in chopped basil and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. 8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon some tomato mixture over it, and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors. 9. Optional: sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
