Herb-Roasted Rabbit with Garlic and Thyme

A tender and flavorful roasted rabbit dish seasoned with fresh garlic, thyme, and lemon. Perfectly crisped skin with juicy meat inside, served with a simple pan sauce.

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Pat the rabbit dry and season generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and thyme. 3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. 4. Sear the rabbit on all sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. 5. Add the lemon slice to the skillet and pour in the white wine or chicken broth. 6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes until the rabbit is cooked through and tender. 7. Remove rabbit from skillet and keep warm. 8. Place skillet back on stove over medium heat, add butter and stir to create a pan sauce from the juices. 9. Pour sauce over rabbit and serve immediately.
