Steps

1. Season the cod fillet with salt and pepper on both sides. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. 3. Add the cod fillet to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. 4. Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside. 5. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 7. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. 8. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked cod fillet. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
