Steps
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, orange juice, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the glaze.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
4. Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the tuna steak in the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. The center should still be slightly pink for medium-rare.
5. Pour the citrus glaze over the tuna steak in the last 30 seconds of cooking, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
6. Remove the tuna steak from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
7. Slice the seared tuna steak into thin strips and serve with the remaining glaze drizzled on top.
8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
