Simple Mozzarella Macaroni and Cheese

A creamy and cheesy macaroni and cheese made with elbow macaroni, mozzarella, and a buttery milk sauce. Perfect for a quick, comforting meal using minimal ingredients.

Steps

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. 3. Slowly add the milk to the melted butter, stirring continuously to combine. 4. Once the milk is warm, add the grated mozzarella cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth. 5. Season the cheese sauce with salt, black pepper, and optional garlic powder or paprika to taste. 6. Add the cooked macaroni back into the pot and stir until the pasta is well coated with the cheese sauce. 7. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.
