
Steps
- Soak black beans in water overnight.
- In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté onions, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.
- Add soaked black beans, vegetable broth, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours until beans are tender.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
