Steps
1. Scrub and clean the mussels, removing any beards or debris.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic, chopped onion, and sliced chili to the pan. Saute until fragrant and the onions are translucent.
4. Increase the heat to high and add the mussels to the pan. Stir them around for a minute.
5. Pour in the white wine and cover the pan. Let the mussels steam for about 5 minutes, or until they have opened up.
6. Remove the lid and add butter to the pan. Stir well to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Transfer the mussels to a serving dish, pouring the sauce over them. Garnish with fresh parsley.
8. Serve hot with crusty bread or over pasta.
