Spicy Potato Curry

A flavorful and spicy Indian main dish made with potatoes and tomatoes, seasoned with garlic, ginger, and onions.

Steps

1. Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. 2. Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and ginger. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter. 4. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 5. Add garlic and ginger. Cook for a minute. 6. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix well. 7. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy. 8. Add diced potatoes and mix well to coat them with the spices. 9. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. 10. Sprinkle garam masala and give it a final stir. 11. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. 12. Serve hot with rice or bread of your choice.
