Tomato and Basil Pasta

A simple and flavorful pasta dish made with fresh tomatoes and aromatic basil.

Steps

1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. 3. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the torn basil leaves. 5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta with the tomato and basil mixture. 6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. 7. Serve hot and garnish with extra torn basil leaves if desired.
