Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small cake pan.
2. In a bowl, mix the mangosteen puree, sugar, and egg until smooth.
3. Gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder, mixing until well combined.
4. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5. While the cake cools, whip the heavy cream in a bowl until soft peaks form. Fold in the wasabi paste and powdered sugar until well combined.
6. For the cantaloupe buttercream, beat the softened butter with the cantaloupe puree and powdered sugar until fluffy.
7. Once the cake is cool, slice it in half horizontally and spread the wasabi cream filling evenly inside.
8. Frost the top of the cake with cantaloupe buttercream and sprinkle with cherry baking chips and durian chunks.
