Steps

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. In a bowl, mix the toasted almonds, sugar, and a pinch of salt. 3. Add the egg and mix until well combined. 4. Gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder to form a dough. 5. Shape the dough into a log about 2 cm thick and place it on a lined baking sheet. 6. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly. 7. Slice the log into 1 cm thick pieces and arrange them cut-side down on the baking sheet. 8. Bake again for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and crisp. 9. Allow to cool completely before serving.
