
Steps
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and salt until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper until soft. Add ground beef, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned. Let cool.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of the beef filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over and crimp the edges to seal. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3-4 tbsp cold water
- For the filling:
- 100g ground beef
- 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
