Steps
1. Begin by cooking the rice according to package instructions. Typically, this involves rinsing the rice and then boiling it in double the amount of water until fluffy.
2. While the rice cooks, heat a pan over medium heat and add the butter.
3. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Season the beef steak with salt and pepper, then add it to the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to your liking.
5. In a separate pot, boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
6. Add the fresh spinach to the pan with the beef during the last 2 minutes of cooking, allowing it to wilt.
7. Once everything is cooked, assemble your bowl: place the rice at the bottom, top with the sautéed beef and spinach, and add the boiled potatoes on the side. Garnish with optional herbs if desired.
