Steps

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add water if needed to reach desired consistency. 3. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if desired. 4. Cut pita breads into triangles. Toss with 1 teaspoon olive oil and a pinch of salt. 5. Spread pita triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer. 6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Optionally, sprinkle with paprika when done. 7. Serve hummus in a bowl alongside warm pita chips for dipping.
