Beer-Braised Chicken Thigh

Tender chicken thigh slowly braised in a flavorful beer sauce with garlic, onions, and herbs. This hearty dish combines the richness of chicken with the malty notes of beer for a comforting meal.

Steps

1. Season the chicken thigh with salt, pepper, and dried thyme. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add chicken thigh, skin side down, and sear until golden brown, about 4 minutes. 4. Flip the chicken and add sliced onion and minced garlic around it. 5. Pour beer into the skillet and bring to a simmer. 6. Cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Let it braise for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. 7. Remove the lid and simmer for 5 more minutes to reduce the sauce slightly. 8. Serve hot with the reduced beer sauce spooned over the chicken.
