Steps
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add sliced onions and sauté until they are translucent.
4. Stir in turmeric powder, salt, and red chili powder. Mix well.
5. Add the sliced bitter gourd and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Add the chopped tomato and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
7. Garnish with fresh coriander if desired and serve hot.
