Steps
1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
2. While pasta cooks, mince the garlic.
3. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
4. Lower heat and add milk, grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese melts and a creamy sauce forms.
5. Add drained pasta back into the pot and toss to coat with the cheese sauce.
6. For the smoothie, peel the banana and add it to a blender with rolled oats, milk or water, and honey/sugar if using.
7. Blend until smooth and creamy.
8. Serve the cheesy pasta hot with the smoothie on the side.
