Steps
1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the chicken breast and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
5. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
