Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat a tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice into thin strips.
3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Sprinkle flour over the butter and garlic mixture, stirring constantly for about 1 minute.
4. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps. Stir in dried oregano and cook until the sauce thickens. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Stir well to coat everything with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
6. Serve hot and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs if desired.
