Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat it in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
