Classic Dutch Stamppot

Steps

1. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes until tender. 2. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the kale to the potatoes. 3. Drain the potatoes and kale, then return them to the pot. 4. Add the milk and butter, and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. 5. In a separate pan, heat the smoked sausage according to package instructions. 6. Serve the stamppot with the sliced sausage on top.
