Steps
In a small saucepan, combine the rolled oats, salt, and cinnamon with the whole milk.
Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats are cooked and creamy.
Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
