Steps
In a small saucepan, combine the rolled oats, milk, salt, and cinnamon.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are soft and creamy.
Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
Serve hot, topped with sliced bananas, berries, or nuts as desired.
