Steps
1. Peel and cube the potato.
2. In a pot, melt the butter and add the chopped onion. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft and fragrant.
3. Add the potato cubes, garlic powder, salt, black pepper and paprika. Stir to combine.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
5. Add the heavy cream and stir until combined.
6. Serve the soup warm. Enjoy!
