- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking pan.

- In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.
