Garlic Butter Mushroom Chicken

A simple and flavorful main dish featuring tender chicken sautéed in margarine with garlic and mushrooms. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Steps

1. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and thyme. 2. Heat the margarine in a skillet over medium heat until melted and hot. 3. Add the chicken breast and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside. 4. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are tender. 5. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the garlic butter mushroom mixture over the top. 6. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine flavors. 7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
