
Steps
- Rinse the mussels under cold water and remove any beards.
- In a medium pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cleaned mussels, cover the pot, and steam for about 5 minutes until the mussels open.
- Squeeze in the lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
