1. Cook the tagliatelle in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. 2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. 3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. 4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. 5. Drain the pasta and reserve a little pasta water. 6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with mushrooms, tossing to combine. 7. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water for a creamier texture. 8. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. 9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra cheese if desired.
