Grilled Octopus with Garlic and Lemon

A simple yet exquisite grilled octopus dish, enhanced with the vibrant flavors of garlic and lemon. This recipe focuses on achieving a tender, perfectly charred octopus served with a refreshing lemon-garlic dressing.

Steps

1. Prepare the octopus by boiling it in a pot of salted water for about 40-60 minutes until it is tender. Allow it to cool in the liquid, then drain and dry. 2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. 3. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and juice. Season with salt and pepper. 4. Brush the octopus with half of the lemon-garlic mixture and place it on the grill. 5. Grill the octopus for about 2-4 minutes on each side, until nicely charred. 6. Remove from the grill and slice into pieces. 7. Drizzle the remaining lemon-garlic mixture over the grilled octopus and garnish with chopped parsley. 8. Serve immediately.
