Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Peel and dice the sweet potato into small cubes. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
3. Spread the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
4. While the sweet potatoes are roasting, prepare the salmon. Brush the salmon fillet with honey and season with salt and pepper.
5. After 20 minutes, remove the sweet potatoes from the oven, push them to one side of the baking sheet, and place the salmon fillet on the other side.
6. Roast everything in the oven for an additional 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
