Steps
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
3. In a small saucepan, combine the jam, soy sauce, honey, and olive oil over low heat. Stir until well combined and heated through.
4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Place the chicken breast in the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
5. Transfer the chicken breast to a baking dish and pour the jam sauce over it.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
8. Slice the chicken and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top. Serve with your favorite side dish.
