Steps
1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breast and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
3. Pour the beer into the skillet and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the beer has reduced.
4. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, combine the julienned apple, carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated.
5. Serve the beer-braised chicken with the apple and carrot slaw on the side.
