Lebanese Healthy Cheese and Chicken with Rice

This healthy cheesy Lebanese dish is made with grilled chicken, melted cheese over steamed rice.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2. Season the chicken with the garlic and onion powders, salt and pepper. 3. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken 8 minutes per side until it is almost cooked through. 4. Place the chicken in an oven-proof dish and top with cheese. 5. Bake in the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the chicken is cooked through. 6. Meanwhile, heat the cooked rice according to package instructions. 7. Plate the dish and pour the melted cheese all over. 8. Sprinkle with parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
