Lemon Garlic Butter Cod

A simple and flavorful pan-seared cod dish with a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce. Perfect for a quick and healthy main course.

Steps

1. Pat the cod fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 3. Add the cod fillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the fish is opaque and flakes easily. 4. Remove the cod from the pan and set aside. 5. In the same pan, reduce heat to low and add butter and minced garlic. 6. Cook garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, then add lemon juice and zest. 7. Stir the sauce and pour it over the cod. 8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
