Lemon Herb Pan-Seared Cod

A light and flavorful pan-seared cod dish enhanced with fresh herbs and a zesty lemon butter sauce. Perfect for a quick, healthy main course.

Steps

1. Pat the cod fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. 3. Place the cod fillet skin-side down (if skin on) and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden. 4. Carefully flip the cod and add butter, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the pan. 5. Spoon the melted herb butter over the fish as it cooks for another 3-4 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily. 6. Remove from heat and serve immediately with the pan sauce drizzled on top.
